Cardiff and Uwic 5- Bridgend 1
A hard fought match saw bridgend demonstrate courageous skill and strength Suberb skill from eventual man of the match Rhys Bradshaw won a well deserved penalty flick for Bridgend, taken by captain knight, who went into the break 1-0 up.
The second half saw Bridgend unable to keep up with the pressure as cardiff converted a penalty flick their play didn’t fully deserve. More goals came despite Bridgend absorbing pressure well, but unfortunate deflections took their toll. The final score line flattered a strong home team, but Bridgend know their performance was good, but could be better!!

Whitchurch f 5 – Bridgend 3rds 2
Bridgend started this game with a positive attitude starting up front was Matt Hibbard with some excellent play and crisp passing from the mid field of Rhys Rubery, Bridgend attacked the whitchurch defence and won a penalty corner which John Wilks scored. 10 minutes later with some more crisp passing from the younger players the ball got to Steve Mac who shot at goal for it to go in from the narrowest of angles, this woke up whitchurch who then started to attack the Bridgend defence and John Thomas broke down most of the attacks.

Gowerton 3- Bridgend 3
The firsts played Gowerton away, which resulted in a 3-3 draw! The game started with some end to end action, resulting in Gowerton scoring, in a quick reaction Bridgend gained a short corner, which resulted in Jo Poupon scoring from a pass from the top of the circle. After half time Gowerton reacted and scored and again resulting from a hit from the defence Poupon capitalised with scoring her second. Bridgend found it difficult to cope with gowertons centre forward, bridgend broke again, and with some good interplay between Poupon and Jones, Poupon scored her hat trick! With minutes to go gowerutons centre forward charged up the pitch and outdid the bridgend defence! The games resulted in a draw after some hard fought battles.
Mens and Ladies seconds couldn’t play their match due to a flooded pitch.
